Shipping policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Every Dalia's piece is handcrafted, carefully packed, and shipped with care. Because our work includes custom, made-to-order, and often oversized art and furniture, please review this policy before ordering. This policy works together with our Terms of Service and Return and Refund Policy.
1. Shipping Area
We currently ship within the contiguous United States. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, and international destinations is available by request only and will be quoted separately. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.
2. Processing and Production Times
- Ready-made pieces: ship within 3–7 business days of order.
- Custom preservation orders: ship after your piece is complete and your final balance is paid. Typical completion is 10–16 weeks from the date we receive your flowers; larger pieces, tables, and furniture may take longer. Your estimated timeline will be provided at booking.
- Made-to-order pieces: estimated production time is listed on each product page.
All production and shipping times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Drying and resin curing cannot be rushed without compromising quality. We do not offer rush service unless confirmed in writing, and we are not responsible for carrier delays once a package has shipped.
3. Shipping Rates
- Shipping for standard-size pieces is calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination.
- Large items, tables, furniture, and oversized wall art may require freight or white-glove delivery and will be quoted separately before shipment.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
4. Packaging, Insurance, and Signature
Each piece is professionally packed for protection in transit. All shipments are fully insured and tracked. Orders over $500 may require an adult signature at delivery. A signature requirement cannot be waived, and packages may be returned to us if signature is not obtained after the carrier's delivery attempts; re-shipping costs will be charged to the customer.
5. Freight and Large-Item Delivery
- Freight deliveries are typically curbside unless white-glove service is purchased. The carrier will contact you to schedule delivery.
- You are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible and that someone is available to receive and help move the item.
- Inspect your piece before signing. Note any visible damage to the item or packaging on the delivery receipt. Signing without noting damage may limit our ability to file a claim.
- Fees for missed delivery appointments, redelivery, or storage charged by the carrier are the customer's responsibility.
6. Local Pickup
Local studio pickup may be available by appointment. If you select pickup, we will contact you when your piece is ready. Pieces not collected within 60 days of notice are subject to the unclaimed-piece terms in our Return and Refund Policy.
7. Tracking and Delivery
You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking when your order ships. Once a carrier confirms delivery, we are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery, including porch theft. If you are not home during the day, we recommend shipping to a secure address or requiring signature.
8. Address Accuracy
Please verify your shipping address before completing your order. We are not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. Address changes must be requested in writing before your order ships. Re-shipping and redirect fees will be charged to the customer.
9. Lost or Damaged Shipments
- Damage: Report damage within 48 hours of delivery by emailing your order number with clear photos of the item, all packaging, and the shipping label. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. See our Return and Refund Policy for remedies.
- Lost in transit: If tracking shows no movement for 7 business days, contact us and we will open a claim with the carrier. Replacement or refund for ready-made items is issued once the carrier claim is resolved. Because custom pieces are one of a kind and contain irreplaceable materials, remedies for lost custom pieces are limited as described in our Terms of Service.
10. Sending Your Flowers to Our Studio
If you are shipping your flowers to us for a custom preservation order:
- Contact us before shipping. Our studio address and packing instructions are provided after your booking is confirmed. Unannounced shipments may not be accepted.
- Ship your flowers as soon as possible after your event, ideally within 3 days, using overnight shipping.
- Ship Monday through Wednesday only so flowers do not sit in transit over a weekend or holiday.
- Pack flowers in a sturdy box with cushioning and cold packs as instructed. Do not ship flowers in water.
- You are responsible for all costs of shipping flowers to us. Shipping is at your own risk until the flowers are received at our studio; we are not responsible for flowers that are lost, delayed, damaged, or deteriorated in transit.
- Local flower drop-off is available by appointment.
11. Delays Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, natural disasters, holidays, peak seasons, or other events beyond our reasonable control. Please plan ahead for gifts and special occasions.
